When I first came to canada it was on Oct 30 and I did not know english nor did I know it was going to be halloween the next day. I have never had halloween where I am from. After trick or treating it has clicked that the norm is to get candy every night and I was really excited to go out the next day. I understood their culture differently and the norm has changed for me until it was set straight. That means that People who travel and go to different cultures in society are going to fit in but not truely understand the whole culture. The different is culture are seen to have different values then others and it might be hard to adjust for certain people due to the comfort zone or even their zone of development. At the end of the day it is a different living culture that people learn to "adapt" in ways they wouldn't imagine.
