Learning consists of many emotions. Despite the ability for humans to experience emotions through the corresponding body actions is innate, it is believed that in order for specific stimuli to trigger a stimulate emotion that stimulus (event/person/action etc) must be learnt. In simpler terms, which stimuli triggers which specific corresponding emotion. Such an example would be the baby monkey case study which shows that they do not exhibit the fear emotion when presented with a "fear intended stimulus" such as the snake, if they had never seen it before. However when the baby monkeys were shown a snake and then later reshown the snake again they were able to correlate the stimulus of the snake as something scary triggering the emotion of fear, which prove that this emotion must first be learnt.
