Damasio hardly points out to say yes or no to this concept. In the case of Little Albert, the emotion of fear is not innate as the child does not know anything about fear itself, but by learning from others he is going to learn, on the other hand when we see a lion we do not think but we just escape, so there are still debates on the issue that emotions are innate.
