mind-body problem argues whether the mind and body are one or separate entities, however there are many claims indicating that The body and the mind are distinct and separate entities. Both effect one another in many ways. The mind is grounded in the body as a whole. when the body states changes (emotions)this results in the formation of a body map which can be precieved as feelings by the brain. this claim is made by looking at both fields separately (through reductionism); mind consists of the thoughts, consciousness and so on where as the body represents the physical characteristics of the individual. we can see the body from the outside and make claims about it however we cannot see the mind or understand it in anyway no matter how much the individual tries to express their-self.
