For an example if I were to be doing a study on emotions, I could see myself using the working out method. I use to volunteer at an agency and I remember everyone using that kind of method to better understand the emotions from each different client. I personally feel if we used a working in method then it wouldn't benefit me to understand everyone's own kind of emotion that they are feeling. Working out is more concerned to figure out the pattern and the theory behind the emotion that one is going through.
When it comes to a normative approach or a Casual approach I see myself using a normative approach over a casual approach. Normative is about studying the way people feel and how people adapt to different kinds of situations. That kind of approach helps psychologist/ counselors better understand why people are feeling that specific way to a specific kind of issue that happened to them.
