From a causal perspective, Cleo might be advised based on the categories of Eyesnick; change you habbits (stop eating alone), which will eventually change your traits (shy/withdrawn) and ultimately change your overall type (introverted to extroverted). Whereas a normative scientist may advise Cleo to become more aware of patterns, both within herself or from her environment. For example, if she notices that she becomes very withdrawn during exam periods, she may want to purposefully make an effort to connect with another individual or group in some social capacity. Regarding the environment, if she notices that the cafeteria is sparse on certain days it may be best for her to look for an alternative place to eat lunch where she has a better chance at making friends.
