From the readings, I learned that foundational images are images of body events. These can be events that happen within the body or in some sensory device near this area. A key aspect of foundational images is that they are a collection of brain maps, meaning that they are a collection of neuron activity and inactivity in sensory regions. Ultimately, these brain maps are a model of the state of the body at any given time. Thus, what is mapped and the ideas that emerge in an idea, correspond to some structure of the body, in a set of circumstances.
