Response to authority

I work at a company as a customer service representative. Basically, I need to try and sell this specific item however, there are a lot of false advertisements and lies that do come up in the company. When i am on the phone with customers my only purpose is to sell the item and not go into too much details of the product to try to lure them into purchasing the product, I initially conformed to what authority figures told me to do but the more I do work with this company I leg the customers know everything and exactly what they are purchasing knowing the consequences that can occur. I do this because I do believe that this is the right thing to do.
