Hamlet’s approach to inflict guilt in his uncle through the use of his play is an example of cause and effect. There reason as to why this is a case of cause and effect is because, Hamlet’s initial goal was to see he reaction of his Uncle and based on his reaction Hamlet would determine whether or not his Uncle was the one who killed his father King Hamlet. Though he did illicit a notion of fear within his uncle but Hamlets plan was flawed to begin with. Maybe his uncle was shocked at the nature of the play, maybe he had one too many drinks which further exaggerated his reactions.
