Law of effect, when responses that produce a satisfying effect in a particular situation become more likely to occur again in that situation, and responses that produce a discomforting effect become less likely to occur again in that situation when a person is "satisfied" doing something, they will do it again and again. Whereas, if they are not satisfied , they will prefer not to do it. Its like reinforces and punishers. For example, being polite will make people respect you, and you love the feeling of being respected. Thus, you will continue being polite. Till the point that a lot of time you are polite but be disrespected, then you are going to question" should I be polite? ".
law of exercise, A law which states that, in learning, the more frequently a stimulus and response are associated with each other, the more likely the particular response will follow the stimulus. The law implies that one learns by doing and one cannot learn a skill, for instance, by watching others. For example, to be a good shooter in basketball, you need to practice again and again.
They are better conceptualized as patterns of behavior that are regularly, but not always observed. They will definitely change over time as norms and meaning systems change.
