Watson's work with little Albert is so important to the ideas of behaviour and is mentioned in every psychology textbook because of the following reasons:
-Watson wanted to study how babies developed phobias of animals. Therefore, his experiment included studying humans in classical conditioning instead of animals.
-Watson wanted to show that our minds are easily influenced and can be conditioned to be afraid of something.
-It could be suggested that his experiment with Little Albert is relateable to real life scenarios.
