One of the most influential studies that shaped the way we view psychology today was the study done by Watson on little Albert. This is one of the foundational studies that fortified the theory of Behaviorism as it showed that it is possible to build up the desired behavior through making a connection between stimulus and response, without taking cognitive processes in to consideration. Additionally, it showed the aspect of behavior generalization as the behavior expanded to similar stimuli. Finally looking back it can also lead to considering experimental ethics due to the trauma left to little Albert.
