As a Child I used to get sick and they would make me believe that the vegetables in our garden would help me heal fast. They would explain to me how they would clear my sinuses. I think they believed that if i believed I can get better from this it will help me heal faster and adjust/overcome the illness. The reason this belief/information gets trusted is because they thought you almost everything you know. This experience affected me to heal faster and input this information into my own culture as I grow up. This made me protect or take care of those plants a lot more then before the information. It has changed my behavior and my thought process one certain situations, sickness and my garden. Might of been a way to teach me more responsibility as to take care of myself and the garden. The values I learned from my parents made me believe this placebo effect. It was easy to convince me but these beliefs might be implemented into my culture. In the future if i still believe this placebo I would most likely pass it down to my children, and friends. This is the example of the placebo being in my culture. I believe the culture is built with the foundation of parents input. Just as cleaning your room will bring you more wealth. All of these examples are placebo effects because they are not certain and there is no proof that they work. People see it as a lie but it can be a way to teach their children behavior that might help them in the future.
