When it comes to the TOTE unit, I personally feel like you can use almost anything for this unit. The example that I am going to use is doing your chores every day.
The test part of the unit would be to make sure that you clean your room perfectly without any finger prints, dusk or marks anywhere. The next step in the TOTE unit is operate. After cleaning your mirror and still seeing that there is a finger print means that the operation part of the unit is not completed yet. This step sometimes takes a while so having yourself cleaning your mirror a couple of times to get the finger prints out shows that you are still in the operating stage which is perfectly fine. Out of all of the steps, the operating stage usually takes the longest to complete. You stopping to check to see if there are still finger prints is the next step in the unit which is again test. And the last step would be exit, which means when you have officially finished the test and the results are what you were looking for. An example of this is when your mirror is completely clean without any finger prints on your mirror. Once that happens then it means it is time to "exit."
