The argument between nature vs. nurture allows us to investigate whether intelligence is a predisposition or a condition that can be cultured, this is done through through the twin study where monozygotic twins, who share the same DNA are both brought up and raised in two different environments (education system/quality of life/resources etc). Through this experiment we are able to successfully compare and contract the twin individuals in regards to their intelligence and personality, and determine if it was affected. If it in deed is observed that this difference in environment has an affect on the individual's intelligence then it is conclusive that environment plays a key role in developing once level of intelligence. However, if despite the difference in environment/mental stimuli there is no significant difference in intellectual levels of the two twins then intelligance is due to the nature of their genetic makeup being identical.
