An operant conditioning is a type of learning that is controlled by rewards or consequences. An example of positive operant conditioning is going to work and receiving a pay check. You reward yourself with something positive, so the routine of going to work will continue. An example of a negative operant condition is in a biology class, students who receive and 'A' do not have to dissect the frog. The negative operant conditioning takes away something negative to receive a positive outcome. In a negative operant condition the behaviour also increases. I do believe most learning is a product of conditioning that increases human behaviour.
