Vygotsky’s concept of the social involved of collaborative construction, and the idea that people working together would create varying reactions and situations, than supposed to if a person was working alone. He believed that if you studied two individuals separately, you would not be able to predict what would happen if the two were put in a group, as each individual affects another differently. Collaborative construction revolves around a group of individuals working together, and within that group, each person has their own beliefs, values and expectations. In order for actual collaboration to happen, people have to agree on their viewpoints and set a common goal in mind, which may not always happen, depending on the people in the group.
