Eugenics is the idea of 'improving' an individuals genetic composition. Our ability to directly alter the genetic disposition of an individual has progressed as a result of improved technology and the increased interest in the matter. However, there are many people advocating against this practice. People are having problems with the moral implications of eugenics since eugenics refers to the social and political policy of controlling who can or cannot reproduce. And like many other people have posted in this forum, this concept can cause discrimination amongst populations. How does this apply to evolution? A key concept in evolution is Natural Selection; organisms with certain traits are better able to survive and adapt to their environment. This is where selective breeding comes in, selecting for desirable traits. For example, sexual selection; females will want to mate with males that are strong and able to support their family as opposed to males that cant.

Hi
nice supporting reasons. I would suggest to elaborate more on the fact that what consequences does eugenic have. Perhaps look in relation to ethics.
Thanks, Ali
