Moghaddam means that children understand and mimic what they see adults do in their daily lives and want to recreate it because they want to feel strong and powerful like an adult. They mimic these actions that they aren't old enough to actually do because it is their way of learning thoughacting. An example of this would be like when we were younger, me and my siblings used to play house. I would always be the mommy, because I'm the oldest. This would give me an excuse to execute my power and boss around my siblings.
