For many years now, researchers have been assessing personality traits in many different ways. Some researches believe that doing a report about an individual is a way to know their personality traits but others also believe that it could have a false reading. From doing a self report to having friends or relatives and or observation reports, there could be reliability and validity to having an assessment on personality traits of an individual. Some factors that may limit an individual to having a reliable self report assessment are dishonesty, environment and personality type, e.g. introvert. Environment could effect an individuals self report assessment because people are more likely to change their behaviour when their with certain individuals. Another reason why self report could not be reliable is an individual may be dishonest. Although, having a self report may not be reliable, also having reports from friends or relatives may not work as well because the friend(s) and relative(s) may not know the individual well or not know what they are like when they are in a different environment. In the end, most of these reports may not be reliable due to the fact that many individuals change their behaviour and personality when they are in different surroundings. The researchers in the end, don't have the power to understand the actions, feelings and thoughts of an individual.

Nice work and explanation. I would suggest to first define what reliability and validity is then try to provide an explanation how they have high or low validity/reliability.
