Self perceptions are
Self-perceptions based on social origins, by a behavioral perspective, as a child gets the rewards according to what has done, this concept can become internal then, so what others reflect to us can shape part of our personality specifically in childhood, it continues in the future and then becomes fixed internally, but according to circumstances it can be changed again.
The mentioned reflections can be partially cultural, as there are norms in a culture which can be inherited in people of that culture and that norm can shape the behavior of those people, for example, a girl being shy can be a value in a culture so that becomes part of girls personality in general.
Being hardworking again can come from a social norm, as people in a group of a society had to work hard to live their life and then it can become a part of their personality.
