A high school example of a situation where I was conformed was when we had group assignments. When I worked in groups I would agree with everyone on a topic, of a certain solution to the given task. I am normally a pretty quiet person and when everyone decides on thing, I typically just go with what they say, as I may have felt that I might be wrong. I might have also felt that everyone would judge me for not going the easy way of just agreeing on a topic everyone had agreed to work on. I wasn't self confident on my opinion. Peer pressure, didn't want to be judged by others, didn't want to be wrong and have people think i'm stupid. But I didn't gain anything out of conforming.
