According to Moghaddam, the good copy problem is
- Whenever a minority group adopts a model of the idea, a model of what they aspire to become, that is not authentic to them but has its roots in the outgroup majority culture.
- The "good copy problem" particularly confronts many non-western communities. this is because the ideal model being propagated around the world tend to have western sources, and are spread through western-dominated medias.
- For example, when women entered management and leadership positions in the workforce, they(at least initially) adopted the male model of leadership. women could only become a "good copy" of the ideal male image.
- Being a mere "good copy" raises the problem of originality and authenticity.

Good example, but can you relate this to a multicultural society. Would the good copy problem still be an issue? Explain.
