I agree that our modern society is extremely complex and that individuals are forced to take multiple selves with different beliefs, values and goals depending on the situation. Moghaddam explains that a professor does not act like a professor when he is playing soccer and he does not act like a soccer player when he is teaching. With that being said I do believe that individuals have many different selves that they portray in different experiences. For example, I am a tennis teach who coaches little kids and I am also a best friend, with that being said I would not act like a best friend to my students and I would not act like a teacher to my best friends.
