Damasio talks about how humans take the environment through the sensory hepatic such as small, taste, touch, etc. This also includes internal sensory. This leads to the body state. All the information travels through nerves to reach the brain creating mental images and converge on somatic sensory cortex. Results in human being influenced on how we interact with the world. Given time, we can change this perspective based on our experience. We can say that our neurons portray how we see objects which can also lead to our body state and how we perceive our organs are such as being satisfied. Looking at multiple people we say that there is more then one truth due to the perception and experience the individual had. So reality is really just an illusion we create with our brain and sensory cortex to survive.
