Objective approach tries to define and measure things very specifically. they try to find universals to everything. They try to look for cause and effect relationship. However, phenomenological approach tries to look t events and ho they appear to a person and the meaning it gives. For Instance, from an objective approach marriage is agreement between two people based on their mutual understanding and common interest in their relationship. On the other hand, from a phenomenological point of view, marriage could be looked at as more responsibility, more work to support the wife and kids and thus as a negative thing.
