When thinking about psychologists I usually think of Abraham Maslow and the hierarchy of needs. His theory about the five tiers of human needs is so eye opening when we think of what we need as human beings to survive and thrive. Especially aspects of romantic relationships and friends, since some of us may feel more comfortable with little to no socialization in today's society.
Also, Solomon Asch and his experiment about conformity comes to mind as well. His conformity experiment is so interesting to watch and almost funny when the participant easily conforms to the groups answers when it is so obvious they are incorrect. It explains how easily influenced and pressured we can be to impress and follow a crowd.
