I believe that I am fairly consistent across the 16 traits as proposed by Cattell. In my own life I find these qualities to be fairly static, some are modified as time goes on, or as the situation requires but I feel that somewhere around seventy five percent of the time I behave in accordance with my self-assessment of this inventory. My openness to experience is quite high and I generally perform better/am more receptive to new situations than repeated or sustained ones. This has remained true across jobs, travel, school, and social situations; furthermore it has been that way since I can recall. Some traits do vary more so than others however, for example social boldness. Generally I am quite socially bold, but in situations where I am not at ease with the company, or subject matter, or it is not appropriate to do so, that boldness is turned down significantly. Overall, I'd say I find myself consistent across Cattell's model, and I think my self-report is very predictive of my behaviour, however there is some variation with respect to these traits over time and as social norms and situations allow.

Hi
Nice explanation and your real life example fits good with his model. i would suggest to elaborate more on the last point you mentioned regarding how those traits variate over social norms.
