Damsio does allow for a discussion on feelings from a non-biological perspective. He discusses various biological process and mechanisms in explaining feeling however many aspects such as explaining neural changes does not have a biological explanation leaving room to understand biology through psychological processes. However, Damsio demonstrated a strong correlation between feelings and biology for example the implications for the victims of brain trauma in the cases studied by Damasio are clear; physical damage to their brains resulted in a significant reduction in their ability to experience emotion, which profoundly diminished their capacity to reason and make decisions.

You need to expand more on the correlation.
