Charles may predict that Cleo’s behaviour is a result of her traits. Traits which are a product of her individual genetic makeup. This suggests that her genes are the cause of her social behaviour, not the circumstances. Inez on the other hand may come to the conclusion that Cleo’s behaviour is just a consistent response to a certain situation. Inez may suggest Cleo’s interpretation of the situation may be different than others and therefore her actions may seem overly aggressive or inappropriate for the circumstances.
