Although the two sciences can be closely related to a certain extent, one cannot be entirely eliminated. Psychology tackles a much broader range of human being from their behaviors, to emotions, to their responses taking into consideration all outer factors that can affect their thinking. Although biology does include the study of the human mind, behaviors and emotions cannot be described through neurological processes. Biology does not take into account the unpredictable responses individuals may have. It does not take into account the previous experiences individuals have had which can influence their thoughts and emotions. Every person is different emotionally. Although our bodies may work the same way, we think differently. To understand this one needs to have sensitivity. Biology is a factual science which is different from psychology, as in psychology there are many variables that a person has to consider. Even if we can guess what a person is thinking we cannot know for sure. Psychology studies all these variables in depth.
