I firmly believe that we will never be able to have a definitive biological explanation for every single action due to the simple notion that we have free will. At any given moment we can make any number of decisions, and it is practically impossible to determine a functional formula to determine when and why such actions will be performed. It is my personal opinion that human beings are more than just bags of meat whose behavior can be dissected and predetermined. It is foolish optimism (or perhaps pessimism) that believes that all human actions can be eventually explained biologically. There are things that humans will simply never know, and that is what contributes to the sheer wonder and thrill of the human experience.

i liked how you used free will in your explanation so do you think a phenomena - such as depression - cannot be narrowed down to just neurotransmitters of the brain? - not saying you are wrong just making you explore the idea more
