well I did find that how I rated people basically boiled down to how comfortable I felt with them...
Interestingly enough I looked at the grid i made and noticed how I rated one of him as much harsher and mean then I typically do....Most likely because I just had an argument and was angry with him.
So it completely boils down to the person doing the rating! and Butt would be on board with this explanation, as remember the entire point of psychology according to him was how everything is subjective, we can't predict how people will react if we have all the relevant information thus how they process the world is also completely subjective too. We are trying to understand how THEY are constructing the world, and what meanings they assign to the various of people and factors in their lives.
We are to understand them, not necessarily evaluate them
suggestions sure, especially for the logical problems...such as additions and such
