An experience I have witnessed is through the bullying of a kid in highschool. As free agents, we are able to make the decision to stand by and watch or do something about it. This being said, a free agent who did not like this person being bullied had in fact spoken up and pointed this out...however, it was only pointed out by this person and agreed upon with their friends, but nobody actually got involved...because it was just a known thing to mind your own business. We are free agents in the sense that we have a difference in opinions and we CAN act differently, we could have stood up and we do not have to bully the kid ourselves, however, we demonstrated as being puppets because of this high school 'law' almost, that you mind your business and don't get involved.
