The two do have similarities but I believe that it will not be possible to explain psychological phenomena in terms of biology. The reason why psychology cannot be reduced to biology is because there are no theoretical terms in biology for subjective experiences of thoughts and feelings. Psychology studies the mind and biology is the study of living organisms, and although the two are fairly similar, one cannot be reduced to the other.
