The three psychologists that I am aware of are Ivan Pavlov, Sigmund Freud, and Charles Darwin. I have learned about Ivan Pavlov in a human development class I took in high school. He introduced the concept of conditioned reflex. He is the psychologist who came up with the theory of classical conditioning, by having a hungry dog salivate at the sound of a bell. Sigmund Freud, was the psychologist whom compared the human brain with an iceberg. On the surface is consciousness, which are thoughts of the current focus of attention. The second part of the iceberg would be the preconscious, this is things seen from our memory. The finale part of the iceberg would be the unconscious part of the brain/mind. This part of the mind is the most significant part as this is where the real cause of most behaviours are from. The next psychologist is Charles Darwin, I learned about him in high school biology. He was known best for his theory of evolution, and natural selection. Only specific members of a certain specie reproduce by natural selection, and pass along their characteristics, like us humans.
