The study of twins is able to make us analyze the nature/nurture controversy better because twins are biologically mostly identical. So as an experiment we could have a twin set that was separated and raised in different environments, and measure the level of intelligence for both to determine if it’s just nature that determines their intelligence. If the different environments influence their mental ability, then therefore nurture determines intelligence.

When using the term "twins" keep in mind that there are monozygotic and dizygotic twins, so you want to specify which are being tested. Monozygotic twins are genetically the same, and on the other hand dizygotic are just like regular siblings. With that, just to explore, how do you think studying monozygotic or dizygotic twins help with the nature/nurture debate?
