This description does not fit Moghaddam's description of stages of development primarily because the behaviourists' ideas about child development were primarily focused on stimulant conditioning; type of learning that does not factor in any innate biological stages of human development. Behaviourists argued that children only developed knowledge and skills though conditioning processes. There are no stages of growth in this idea of learning.
