An example of operant conditioning with learning. Within a classroom setting a teacher may tell the students to hand in their assignments on a specific date. Some who hands it in early the teacher rewarded them by allowing them to leave class early, but the students who didn’t hand in the assignment or handed it in late got a detention as a punishment.
This is an example because the students are aware of the reward and punishment of their behaviour would make them make better decisions for next time
