Ideal forms are the correct ways to do things in society with others. Children through practice and interactions , such as play, can acquire skills to identify with ideal forms and change their behavior by imitating adults. Children do not passively accept ideal forms. They actively select and interpret them. Children deprived from ideal forms become developmentally deprived.
