Scaffolding:
Scaffolding is when one learns through peoples interactions around them (adults and peers). One who tends to be more skilled would build a scaffold in order to support the less skilled person/child, so that person/ child could carry out their own tasks one day. For example; an ESL student needs help with learning, the ESL teacher and the peers in the class would help the ESL student to improve in language, mathematics, and etc. The appropriate guidance will be given until the child is ready to leave the ESL class and join a regular class, to use their own skills. The ESL teacher will no longer be needed for that child once he/she picks up the game.
