Strange situation- Theory by Mary Ainsworth that discusses attachment and the relationship between a caregiver and a child specifically when a child is left in the room with a stranger. The child automatically feels anxious being in the room with a stranger and upon the mother returning the child displays 1. anxious avoidant, 2. resisting, 3. secure.
Scaffolding- Is when a child learns through interactions with an adult. For example, adult helping a child preparing for a test.
Ideal forms- Theory by Vygotsky, a child's conception of the world through perception. Children practice through play; imitation and play.
