Behaviors would predict that when the monkey was scared, they would first go to the wired mother because she was provided them with food. In this case the food was associated with comfort because the infant monkeys would depend on the wired mother in order to survive. The food exchange can be seen as an example of operant conditioning. The behaviorists believed that feelings of attachment would develop from this conditioning. However, the results of the experiment showed the opposite. It turned out that the infant money approached the cloth mother with it was scared, even though she didn’t provide it with anything. in this situation it would be appropriate to consider nurture as a influence, but unfortunately behaviorist are against it.

You have got the concept right and know how to explain. I would suggest to first explain clearly what the behaviourist stand is when it comes to reward and punishment. then apply to this scenario.
Also, it would be helpful if you could explain how does the concept of nurture fit in this explanation.
