Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim
A)
1. Self Reports: This personality assessment method can be extremely valid provided the participants are reliable and honest in their assessment. It is very easy to misinterpret behavior and actions to give yourself a positive assessment. 2. Friend and Family Reports: Can be valid however this is dependent on the nature of the relationship between the participant and the friends. Questions such as how intimate/close is the relation, what is the quality of the relation, have they been in a recent disagreement? These types of factors can influence the results depending on the time of the study. 3. Trained professional: Can be valid dependent on the skill of the professional and the honesty of the participant. If the participant lies and acts differently, it is possible to trick the professional or give misleading results.
B) I would select the trained professional as it eliminates potential bias from the study. While they may not be wholly reliable (results can differ between professionals, time of day, mood of participant and professional) perhaps a multiple test study can eliminate these variables.

In part A can you touch upon the aspect of reliability for these methods and what can limit it?
