I used to work in construction where there are lots of dangerous equipment as well as hazards. We had to cross a make shift bridge which was not stable and carry some heavy loads across it. As I was afraid to do it my boss told me to go grab a bag and bring it over. I told him I was not comfortable with the situations and he insisted even giving me an excuse that people walk over it on a daily. In my mind I thought if I were to do this I can fall a story or 2. I was under pressure because it was a job I needed and with the authority pushing me out of my zone of proximal development I felt nervous and scared for my safety. I ended up still doing because of fear and other responsibilities that I had.
